JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a Junior Systems Engineer to join our Cloud Infrastructure and Application Monitoring team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals (0–1 years of experience) who are eager to launch their careers in Cloud Infrastructure, DevOps, and Systems Engineering.

In this full-time role, you’ll work closely with senior engineers to ensure the health, performance, and security of Sapaad’s global SaaS systems. You’ll gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge cloud technologies while learning best practices in monitoring, incident response, and system optimization.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Monitor cloud infrastructure and applications for performance and availability
• Support day-to-day operations on Heroku and AWS
• Troubleshoot production issues under the guidance of senior engineers
• Configure monitoring dashboards and alerts (Logtail, Datadog, CloudWatch)
• Perform routine database checks (Postgres, Redis) and assist with backups/maintenance
• Learn and support cloud security best practices (IAM roles, security groups, Cloudflare DNS & WAF)
• Participate in incident response processes and document findings
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize application infrastructure
• Manage incidents, minimize downtime, and escalate issues when needed
• Maintain clear technical documentation and SOPs
• Contribute to R&D initiatives to improve systems and processes

WHAT YOU’LL LEARN & GROW INTO

• Advanced AWS cloud infrastructure management
• Hands-on expertise with monitoring and alerting tools
• Database administration skills (Postgres & Redis)
• Cloud security practices, including WAF and DDoS protection
• Industry-standard processes for incident management and RCA

YOU’RE A STRONG FIT IF YOU HAVE

• Basic knowledge of Cloud Platforms (AWS/Heroku)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• A passion for learning and building a career in Cloud/DevOps

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• B.Tech/BE/M.Sc in Computer Science or a related field
• Basic familiarity with monitoring/logging tools
• Cloud certifications (AWS/Azure Fundamentals) are a plus
