Job Description:

We are looking for an Engineer who is self-motivated and driven to work with multiple stakeholders being responsible for: 

• Collect, process, assess & analyse and monitor in-service data from airlines, MROs and suppliers. Provide recommendations for performance improvement at fleet and/or individual operator level and analyse effectiveness.

• Support organizations by providing in-service data, reference data, dashboards, reports etc. and support Aircraft and Services Sales activities.

• This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.

• Understanding the technological needs of various aircraft operations and its extended ecosystem (customers, suppliers, strategic partners etc.). 

• Quickly learning and creating prototypes/concrete solutions that solve the needs and problems identified. 

• Working with a transnational team on selected systems. 

• Implementing the solution on selected systems use cases. 

• Being flexible to be challenged on one’s ideas and to still drive innovative solutions. 

• Networking with other transnational system designers/experts to understand and improve the solution at hand. 

• Validating, Testing and Deploying the innovative solutions developed and documenting the learning in the process. 

• Providing project updates on a consistent basis to the various stakeholders involved in the team. 

Required Education

• B.Tech / M. Tech. / M. E. in Computer Science, aerospace, mechanical, electrical or electronics engineering 

Required Skills and Expertise

• Software Knowledge: Splunk

• Operating System: Windows, Linux, Unix

• Programming knowledge (C#, C++, Python, R , JAVA or any Object Oriented Programming language)

• Others: XML, SQL & GitKnowledge

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Flexibility and adaptability.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge  of aircraft systems and statistics

• Basic awareness of aircraft operations

• Knowledge and experience in Predictive Data Analytics & related tools (added advantage)

• Proficiency in quickly grasping the technical details of different aircraft systems and associating the technology to solve relevant problem statements. 

• Good communicator so as to represent Airbus India as part of the project

• Self-motivated individual interested in working on data science concepts for aviation industry

• Strong team player motivated to collaborate and find synergies

• Excellent analytical skills and proven ability to solve problems creatively

• Experience in the Aerospace industry and Aircraft Systems knowledge
