Meet the Team
Global Procurement Services is responsible for the procurement of all Cisco indirect goods and services globally. We serve as the Supply Chain Manager and Procurement arm for all non-production, indirect suppliers, and services. We operate a best-in-class technology industry procurement capability delivering year-over-year competitive advantages.

This Procurement position could be in Category and Supplier management team or Procurement Operations that supports indirect procurement for Cisco enterprise. The team is responsible for Supplier Management, Operations, Commercial and Legal negotiation to deliver competitive advantages to Cisco business functions like IT, Engineering, Shared Services, Finance, Sales, and HR.

Your Impact
This Sourcing Specialist role is instrumental in providing sourcing and operational support to the group and may include the following deliverables:
* Assist in the procurement process by reviewing purchase requisitions and purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Support supplier management activities, including communication with vendors and maintaining supplier records.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand purchasing needs and help source goods and services efficiently.
* Monitor and track orders, deliveries, and invoices to ensure timely receipt and payment processing.
* Learn and apply procurement best practices, including ethical standards and company-specific procurement policies, to support business continuity and risk mitigation.
* Assist in collecting and analyzing procurement data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and supplier performance metrics.
* Support the creation and maintenance of procurement dashboards and reports using available analytics tools to provide insights for decision-making.
* Collaborate with data teams to ensure accurate and timely data entry and validation within procurement systems.
* Utilize data analytics to monitor compliance with procurement policies and identify potential risks or anomalies.
* Participate in training to develop skills in data visualization and analytics platforms relevant to procurement processes.

Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering; Supply Chain Management, Procurement or Operations; and relevant experience of up to 11 months would be preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimize supply chain or procurement processes.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and vendors.
* Proficiency in data analysis tools (such as Excel) and familiarity with supply chain or procurement software.
* Basic understanding of procurement, logistics, inventory management, or operations principles.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
* High energy Strategic Problem solver with strong analytical and eye for business.
