Job Description:

Poshmark is seeking a Software Intern QA to join the Quality Assurance team. You will design, develop, drive, and deliver high-level test strategies, and methodologies and take a hands-on approach to ensure they are implemented timely and efficiently. You will partner with our team to help us build our QA functions and streamline our manual testing while liaising closely with other departments on technical matters. Overall, driving the integrity and quality of technical work on significant projects. This is a unique opportunity for someone looking to take on big challenges and grow professionally.
 

Responsibilities:

• Work closely in all phases of the STLC life cycle

• Conduct manual QA testing of new and existing products, performance, and end-to-end product for Poshmark’s applications on various devices(iOS, Android & Web) and Platforms

• Develop Test scenarios and Test cases based on business requirements and user stories

• Identify, document, and track defects using a bug-tracking tool

• Ability to analyze potential issues do root cause analysis and assign bugs to the right development team

• Follow up with Engineering and Product team members to see bug fixes through completion

• Review bug descriptions, functional requirements, and design documents, incorporating this information into test plans and test cases
   

Duration:

6 Months duration (5 days work from office)

Location: Chennai

3-Month Accomplishments:

• Able to contribute to develop new test cases, test scenarios

• Support testing for new product features and changes

• Run and perform regular regression tests

• Debug and enhance current test suites

Qualifications:

• Prior exposure in Manual testing

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent attention to detail and curious mindset

• Ability to work in both a team environment and independently

• Aptitude to learn quickly and effectively

• Strong time management and prioritization skills
