About the Role:

At ProtoBoost.ai we turn bold ideas into production‑ready prototypes at record speed. We’re looking for a Junior Frontend Developer who lives and breathes HTML & CSS and can translate Figma files or static mock‑ups into flawless, responsive user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pixel‑Perfect Builds - Convert Figma designs and image layouts into clean, semantic HTML5 and modern CSS/Sass/Tailwind, matching every pixel, spacing, and interaction detail.
• Responsive & Cross‑Browser - Ensure pages look and feel identical across breakpoints and major browsers, applying adaptive techniques and graceful degradation where needed.
• Component Library Implementation - Help extend and maintain our design‑system components, guaranteeing consistency and re‑usability across products.
• Accessibility & Performance - Incorporate a11y best practices, optimize assets, and write performant styles that keep Lighthouse scores high.
• Iterate With Designers - Work hand‑in‑hand with UX/UI designers—clarifying edge cases, giving feedback on feasibility, and iterating quickly on visuals and interactions.
• Light JavaScript Enhancements - Implement basic interactive behaviors (e.g., accordions, modals, sliders) or integrate existing component libraries as required.
• Code Quality & Version Control - Follow Git workflows, maintain organized project structures, and write well‑documented, maintainable code.

Team you will work with

• Design – Collaborate daily to transform static visuals into living, breathing interfaces.
• Frontend Engineering – Pair with senior developers to integrate components into React/Next.js codebases and learn advanced patterns.
• Product – Ensure that delivered pages meet functional requirements, acceptance criteria, and business goals.

What you will work on

• Marketing & Landing Pages – High‑conversion pages that must load fast and look perfect.
• Product Dashboards & Forms – Complex UI states built from atomic components.
• Design‑System Assets – Tokens, utility classes, and documentation that scale across applications.
• Interactive Prototypes – HTML/CSS click‑throughs used for user testing before full React builds.

Qualifications:

• HTML/CSS Wizard – Deep knowledge of semantic markup, Flexbox, Grid, animations, and modern CSS techniques.
• Detail‑Obsessed – You spot a 2‑px misalignment from across the room and fix it fast.
• Responsive Pro – Comfortable with fluid grids, mobile‑first principles, and device testing.
• Tool‑Savvy – Proficient with Figma, Photoshop/Illustrator, browser dev‑tools, and Git; Tailwind or Sass experience is a plus.
• Basics of JS – Able to wire up light interactions or hand off clean hooks for React integration.
• Collaborative Communicator – Ask clarifying questions, give and receive feedback gracefully, and keep stakeholders in the loop.
