Daxko Website Developers are responsible for customizing and developing our website platforms and development projects. In this position, you will work directly within our website development team to build custom and semi-custom websites and products and collaborate with other developers and designers to complete projects as requested. Additionally, you work alongside account managers and clients to develop and deliver projects on time. 

You will also:

• Perform front-end (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and back-end (WordPress, PHP, MySQL) web development to support and complete projects. 
• Do some light server administration to support website hosting of projects (Windows, Linux, Apache). 
• Work with UX designers to build custom website solutions on the WordPress platform. 
• Train and mentor team members on development projects and skills related to development and processes. 
• Perform some project management, such as timeline management, resource coordination, and communication, which may be required for specific custom website development projects. 
• Conduct ongoing troubleshooting and resolution of issues/bugs on websites/projects. 
• Collaborate with Customer Success Teams to provide excellent customer service to website and digital marketing customers. 
• QA websites/projects for development issues and best practices from other developers/designers prior to launch. 
• Execute the full software life-cycle development process - from architecture and development to debugging and maintenance. 

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two or more (2+) years of experience in WordPress, with demonstratable knowledge in: 
  • developing web solutions 
  • establishing and configuring headlines hooks, filters, custom post types, taxonomies+ 
  • Custom field plug-ins, plug-in creation (API and gateway integrations) 
• Advanced working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Photoshop 
• Experience with member management software 
• Comfortable working with a team in a fast-paced environment, and ability to prioritize/ delegate to meet deadlines within specific time constraints. 
• Ability to effectively work on your own, with a team, and with customers. 
• Able to document codes and processes clearly. 
• Computer and software skills for efficient research, documentation, and information management. 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. 
• Knowledge of digital marketing concepts (e.g., content strategy, email marketing, SEO, PPC, social media).
