SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES:

As a ‘BI team member’, you need to contribute as VBA developer along with other developers of the BI team. In this role, you would also need to be able to design and develop the excel landscape and have the application implemented alongside the team members. The project leverages agile practices and uses Microsoft Excel Automation technologies to satisfy the business BI needs.

You are expected to:

• Develop the product for reliability, scalability, consistency & resilience.
• Perform R&D and find appropriate solutions based on the need of the hour.
• Gather requirements from end-users and perform product review on timely basis.
• Work with other developers in developing and testing of projects.
• Develop excel automation solutions to automate lab processes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• BE/MCA or any other equivalent degree.
• Minimum 0-1 years’ experience working in excel automation using VBA.
• Designed / Owned / implemented automation solution using excel for one or more projects.
• Experience in ETL technologies and MS Integration services.
• Experience of MS SQL Server.
• Worked with SCRUM process and guidelines.
• Good knowledge on services, application layers, design practices and system architecture.

PERFORMANCE APPRAISAL CRITERIA:

Eurofins has a strong focus on Performance Management systems; this includes quarterly calibrations, half-yearly reviews and annual reviews. The KPIs shall be set and may vary slightly between projects. These will be clearly communicated, documented during the first 30 days of your joining.
