Your role
Our Quality Assurance (QA) team is the guardian of our product's excellence, ensuring its quality, reliability, and usability. We achieve this by collaborating closely with developers, designers, and stakeholders to identify and resolve issues. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, seamless experiences to our end users. As a QA Engineer Intern, you will contribute to our quality initiatives. You will focus on developing and executing a mix of functional and automated tests to validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of our cutting-edge web and mobile applications. The position reports to our Functional QA Manager and offers the opportunity to be based in our Bangalore, India office. It's a hybrid position, requiring three days of work from the office in Bangalore, and it is a 1-year contract opportunity.

What you’ll do 

• Define the scope of functional testing based on application complexity and criticality. 
• Develop reusable and maintainable automated test scripts for our web and mobile applications. 
• Integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and continuous execution. 
• Execute tests across a wide range of browsers, devices, and operating systems to ensure comprehensive coverage. 
• Analyze test results, debug issues, track defects, and collaborate closely with developers to see them through to resolution.
• Generate comprehensive test reports, including execution summaries, defect tracking, and coverage metrics to provide clear insights into product quality. 

Skills You’ll Bring 

• 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in mobile and/or web application testing. 
• BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Freshers with experience/training in Quality Engineering and Automation are welcome to apply. 
• Strong technical skills in automated testing frameworks (e.g., Appium, Robot, Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG). 
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Java or Python.
• Excellent problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills. 
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities across multiple projects simultaneously. 
• Experience in VoIP, telecommunications, or related communication technologies is a significant plus.
