The role of the entry level Associate Support Engineer is to analyze, design, develop and test interoperability solutions to ensure the integration of software, hardware, reliability, maintainability, safety and other requirements in the total engineering effort. Additional responsibilities include formulating operational concepts; performing mission, functional, cost-benefit and risk analysis; selecting systems architecture; and preparing specifications for Rimini Street systems to ensure designs meet applicable security specifications. Assists in the design of, and develop integrated solutions in accordance with, corporate standards and products.  This individual will support on-going Research & Development activities, have good oral and written communication skills, and perform work assignments under minimal supervision.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities  

• Work closely with the Technical, Coding, and Business Analysis teams to ensure adherence to the functional specification and that all requirements are being satisfied
• Assist on the Kanban needs - Technical, Coding, and Business Analysis teams with planning activities related to product specific Tax and Regulatory updates (i.e., monthly releases ,scheduling, project planning and tracking, etc.)
• Learn and pick up - configurations of EBS Finance (creation of tax authorities, taxability models, garnishments, etc.)
• Clearly and accurately report any bugs, including detailed reproduction steps
• Assist with debugging to isolate cause of bugs
• Verify bug resolution and track issues to closure
• Understands QA and Testing practices. Ability to understand test cases, test scenarios, execute test cases and knows Defect management process
• Manage and Maintain Test Data
• Execute and prepare detailed system test plan from functional and technical analysis
  Clearly and accurately report any bugs, including detailed reproduction steps
• Perform acceptance testing on SAP  environments established for each of our clients
• Apply updates to client environments and perform system testing Complete Regression Testing
  Other responsibilities as assigned

Skills 

• Must have undergone training or certification in Oracle EBS
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills – verbal & written.
• Attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to work calmly and professionally in high pressure situations.
