The AWS Console Experiences team is looking for a highly passionate and capable Front-End Engineer. As the stewards of AWS Global Navigation and Console Home, the primary gateway into the AWS experience, it is our team's job to help customers find what they need to complete their goals quickly and efficiently. In the coming months Global Navigation will be rebuilt with modern, web-component based technology; and Console Home will evolve to empower AWS teams and customers to personalize experiences, creating a cockpit-style dashboard to allow AWS customers to determine service status easily and to react quickly. Cross Console Experience

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years of professional front end development experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent
- Experience (non-internship) in professional front end, web or mobile software development using JavaScript, HTML and CSS

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
- Experience with developing machine learning and natural language processing products
