Application process TCS MBA Hiring - Batch of 2026

Step 1. Login to the TCS NextStep Portal   Opens in new tab

Step 2. Register and Apply for the drive

• Scenario A. If you are already a registered user in the TCS NextStep Portal, 'IT’ category, kindly login with your TCS Reference ID (CT/DT reference number) and proceed to complete the application form. Upon submission, kindly click on ‘Apply for Drive’.

• Scenario B. If you are a new user, kindly click on Register Now, choose category as “IT” and proceed to fill your details. Submit your application form and click on 'Apply for Drive'.

Step 3. Select your mode of test (In-Centre) and choose your preferred test centre & then click on Apply.

Step 4. To confirm your status, check "Track your application". The status should be reflected as "Applied for Drive".

Important note:

• This is an In-centre test and centre allotment would be on a first-come-first-serve basis.

• You must have all your original academic documents to date, to be submitted at the time of the Interview (if you are shortlisted after the test).

• Communication related to the test will be informed to you by TCS iON – our test partner.

• TCS does not send job offers/any hiring related communication from unofficial email IDs like Gmail, Rediff mail, Yahoo Mail, Hotmail etc.

• TCS does not ask candidates to deposit any money for employment offers.

• TCS is not associated with any external agency/company to conduct any interviews or make offers of employment on its behalf.

• Kindly note that we have stringent eligibility criteria and a robust selection process. Your eligibility as per the defined criteria will be checked at various stages of the selection process. At any point of time if you are found ineligible, or data shared by you is found discrepant/misrepresented, your candidature may be disqualified.

Test Eligibility
 

• Academic Percentage: Candidates should have a minimum aggregate (All subjects in all semesters) of 60% or equivalent CGPA in class 10th, 12th, Diploma (if applicable), Graduation and Post-Graduation examination.

• Highest Qualification: Candidates pursuing 2 years full-time Management Post-Graduate courses (MBA/MMS/PGDBA/PGDM) offered by a recognized university with specializations in Marketing/ Finance/Operations/Supply Chain Management/Information Technology/General Management/Business Analytics/Project Management/or related disciplines offered by recognized university/college from the batch of 2026 will be considered. 

• Graduation Background: Any graduate degree from a recognized university/college would be considered eligible.

• Backlogs/Arrears/ATKT: Candidate having up to one backlog may appear for the selection process. However, it is mandatory that the course is completed within the stipulated time duration without any backlogs at the time of joining TCS, if selected.

  Extended education would not be considered eligible.

• Gap/Break in Education: It is mandatory to declare gaps in education, if any. Overall academic gap should not exceed 24 months until the highest qualification. Relevant documentation, as applicable, will be checked for gaps in education.

• Course Types: Only full-time courses will be considered (part-time/correspondence courses will not be considered).

• Open Schooling: Candidates who have completed their Secondary and/or Senior Secondary courses from NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) are also eligible to apply if the Graduation and Post-graduation (if applicable) courses are done full-time. 

• Work Experience: Candidates with prior work experience of 0-2 years are eligible for TCS MBA Hiring 2026. Any experience (part-time/full-time) is required to be mandatorily declared in the TCS Application Form. Candidates would be required to submit the necessary documents supporting their work experience at the time of  TCS selection process and/or post joining TCS, as per requirements.

• Age: Minimum age – 18 years and maximum age – 28 years.

Test Pattern
 

• Test provider: TCS iON is the test provider for TCS MBA 2026 Hiring process.

• Test Pattern: The duration of the Assessment is 90 mins and is split into 3 sections mentioned below: 

  • Verbal Ability 

  • Numerical Ability  

  • Business Aptitude
