Everything you need to know about AtomQuest 2025

Eligibility Criteria & Team Formulation 

• Participants can register in teams of 3-5 members. 
• Cross-discipline and cross-college teams are encouraged. 
• Teams with members bringing varied expertise from disciplines like Electronics, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Computer Science, Electrical, etc., will get an edge. 
• All team members must verify and confirm their details to form a team. 
• A student can only be a part of one team. 
• Participants must not have any criminal conviction or contractual obligations that prevent participation in the competition. 
• Proof of age and address will be required when requested by Atomberg.  

Competition Structure 

Round 1: Abstract Submission 

• Participants must submit a two/three page abstract (not exceeding 600 words) of their proposed solution in PDF format.  
• They need to follow the same structure as provided 
• The last date to submit entries is 20th August, 2025. 
• Submissions can be edited and uploaded until the deadline. Early submissions are advised to avoid technical issues. 

Round 2: Proto Submission: Level 1  

• Participants must submit a 90-second video showcasing the current progress of their project.  
• A signed letter from the faculty mentor confirming their continued guidance till the finale is to be submitted in PDF format. 
• The participants need to follow the same structure as provided for the video submission. 
• The last date to submit entries is 12th September, 2025. 
• Submissions can be edited and uploaded until the deadline. Early submissions are advised to avoid technical issues. 

Round 3: Proto Submission: Level 2 

• The shortlisted teams will submit a detailed project report along with a video prototype of their solution in the prescribed format. 

Mentorship 

• Shortlisted teams from Round 3 will be paired with Atomberg mentors, who will guide them through the development phase, providing insights, feedback, and technical support. 
• Teams can use these mentorship sessions to refine their solutions and overcome challenges.  

Round 4: Grand Finale 

• The Grand Finale will be held in person at Atomberg Innovation Center. Finalists will present their fully developed solutions to Atomberg’s leadership team and a jury of industry leaders. 
• Teams face off in a high-stakes war room where talent, strategy, and innovation collide. 
• Details of the Grand Finale will be shared closer to the event. 

PPIs for Internship

After the 3rd round of Prototype Presentation, 2nd, and 3rd-year undergraduate students and 1st-year postgraduate students will be eligible for Pre-Placement Interviews (PPIs) for paid internships with Atomberg. Selected interns will receive an opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects.

PPIs for Full Time Roles

After the 3rd round of Prototype Presentation, 4th year undergraduate students and 2nd year postgraduate students will be eligible for Pre-Placement Interviews (PPIs) for full-time roles at Atomberg. Selected candidates will be offered a competitive package and the chance to contribute to innovative projects within the organization.
