Position Description:
CGI is seeking an enthusiastic HR Intern to join our dynamic Talent Acquisition team. This 6-month internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, global IT and business consulting environment. You'll play a crucial role in supporting our talent acquisition operations, contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our hiring processes. This position is ideal for individuals eager to learn about HR technology, data-driven decision-making, and operational rigor within talent acquisition.

• Talent Acquisition Technology Support: Assist in the execution and optimization of AI enabled Talent Acquisition function, contributing to implementing transformational projects within TA.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Support ad-hoc data requests related to talent acquisition metrics, helping to generate insights and inform strategic decisions.
• Operational Rigor: Collaborate with the larger TA team, to ensure adherence to operational procedures and implementing TA projects, contributing to a streamlined and efficient talent acquisition process.
• Communication & Collaboration: Effectively communicate with various stakeholders, including hiring managers, recruiters, and candidates, to ensure smooth talent acquisition operations.
Must-Have Skills:
• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate information clearly and concisely.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to work, ensuring accuracy in data entry and documentation.
• Organizational Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency: Proficient in using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for data management, reporting, and presentations.
• Proactive and Eager to Learn: A self-starter with a strong desire to learn and contribute to the HR function.
Good-to-Have Skills:
• Understanding of Talent Acquisition Processes: Basic knowledge of recruitment lifecycles and talent acquisition strategies.
• Familiarity with HR Technology: Exposure to HRIS or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a plus.
• Data Analysis Aptitude: Ability to interpret data and draw basic conclusions to support reporting.
