About the Role:

We are looking for an Associate Software Engineer to help in developing high quality, secured and high performant application. As a Backend developer, you will have a major role to play in the software product development by analysing the requirement, deciding approach and developing the application. As part of this role, you will be doing development, write unit test case, high level test case and deliver quality application.

A Day in The Life of Our Associate Software Engineer: 

• Develop high-quality applications.

• Participate in sprint planning, task estimation and test case writing.

• Design and implement scalable, testable and efficient code.

• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.

• Utilise GitLab/ GitHub repository for source control.

• Collaboration with other team members.

• Contribute to continuous improvement processes.

Who you are and what you’ll need for this position:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent from good, reputed university.

• 0 - 1 years of real-world experience.

• Experienced with back-end programming languages (NodeJS), python is added advantage.

• Good knowledge of JavaScript, web stacks, libraries, and frameworks.

• Basic knowledge of relational database systems (Ex: PostgreSQL) with SQL queries.

• Basic knowledge of REST API’s.

• Experience using Source Control such as Git.

• Good understanding of algorithms, data structure and object-oriented programming.

• Familiarity with Agile development process.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
