HackRx is the annual flagship hackathon organized by Bajaj Finserv Health Limited, designed exclusively for engineering students across India, offering a dynamic platform for the brightest tech minds to compete, collaborate, and create impactful solutions. Participants are mentored by top industry leaders as they work on real-world problem statements sponsored by the Bajaj Finserv Group.

This year, HackRx 6.0 dives into the exciting world of Generative AI. Participants will take on a cutting-edge challenge: designing an LLM-powered intelligent query–retrieval system capable of handling large documents and making smart, contextual inferences, just like a human.

Problem Statement:

• LLM-Powered Intelligent Query–Retrieval System: Build a system that uses Large Language Models (LLMs) to process natural language queries and retrieve relevant information from large unstructured documents such as policy documents, contracts, and emails.

Eligibility and Rules:

• Each team must have a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 members.
• Participants should be from the II / III / IV year of the degree.
• A team should comprise participants from one institution only, but can be from different semesters/domains.
• Any student currently pursuing an Engineering degree (B.E. / B.Tech) is eligible to participate in HackRx 6.0.

Competition Structure:

Registrations:

• All interested participants need to register for the Hackathon.
• The registration process may require providing personal information and team details (if applicable), and agreeing to the terms and conditions of the hackathon.
• Participants should carefully review the eligibility criteria and ensure they meet the requirements before registering.

HackRx 6.0 – Deepdive | Webinar: 

• Prior to the preliminary round, a deep-dive webinar will be conducted to provide participants with insights into the hackathon theme, problem statement, and relevant industry trends.
• The webinar will cover essential information and resources that participants can leverage to develop their solutions.
• Attendance at the webinar is strongly recommended, as it will help participants gain a better understanding of the hackathon requirements and increase their chances of success.

Pitch Deck Submission:

• As part of the preliminary round, each participating team will be required to submit a pitch deck and code.
• Use this template: Download Pitch Deck Template.
• The pitch deck should outline the team's proposed solution to the problem statement provided.
• The pitch deck should be concise and well-structured, with a clear explanation of the proposed solution and its value proposition, aligned with the given problem statement
• The pitch deck should be concise, visually appealing, and effectively communicate the team's solution and its value proposition.
• Ensure you use the template provided; deviation from the same would be considered invalid.
• Log in to the portal with credentials that'll be shared over email post registration, and follow the steps mentioned there to proceed and qualify.

Online Evaluation:

• Candidates must use the credentials provided post-registration to log in to the online challenge platform and make their submissions to top the leaderboard. More details regarding this will be available right inside the portal.
• A live leaderboard will be published to display team rankings based on daily code submissions.
• Teams will be shortlisted based on leaderboard rankings and the defined evaluation criteria.

Announcement of Shortlisted Teams:

• After the evaluation, the shortlisted teams for the next round will be announced.
• The list of shortlisted teams will be communicated through official channels, such as the hackathon website email.
• Shortlisted teams will be notified about their selection and provided with further instructions regarding the next steps of the hackathon.

Webinar with Shortlisted Teams:

• A dedicated webinar will be organized for the shortlisted teams to discuss the expectations, guidelines, and rules for the subsequent rounds.
• This webinar will provide an opportunity for the shortlisted teams to clarify any doubts, seek clarification on the problem statement, and gain additional insights from the organizers.
• Attendance at this webinar is crucial for the shortlisted teams to ensure they have a comprehensive understanding of the hackathon requirements and can prepare effectively for the next stages.

Grand Finale:

• The shortlisted teams will compete against each other to present their fully developed solutions to a panel of judges.
• The teams will have a designated time slot to present their solutions, demonstrate their functionality, and explain their approach.
• The judging criteria will evaluate the uniqueness of the solution, technical implementation, scalability, user experience, impact, and overall presentation.
• The winners will be announced during the grand finale, and prizes will be awarded to the top-performing teams.
