United Airlines is growing faster than ever, and we need talented software engineers / developers like you to fill the critical openings across our business. This is a hybrid position with ample flexibility working from home or at the office, annual base salary/bonus incentives, along with exciting travel opportunities with free flight travel (on employee pass) benefits.

• Participate in the design and development of United’s machine learning, personalization and recommender systems.
• Strong knowledge of python, machine learning, data analysis using sql, python, apache spark.
• Knowledge of Data preprocessing, Data cleansing and Data reduction.
• Willingness to stay updated with the latest developments in the rapidly evolving field of ML and AI.
• Effective Communication (verbal + written) and a strong team player.
• Good understanding of software development lifecycle (Agile methodology)  

This position is offered on local terms and conditions.  Expatriate assignments and sponsorship for employment visas, even on a time-limited visa status, will not be awarded. This position is for United Airlines Business Services Pvt. Ltd - a wholly owned subsidiary of United Airlines Inc.

Qualifications

Required (Minimum Qualifications):

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering – Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical
• 2-3 years entry level / university graduate
• Experience of Python, Machine learning.
• Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

Preferred Qualifications:

• Machine learning libraries: Experience with popular ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Knowledge of AWS services such as AWS personalize.
