Internship Overview

We're seeking a motivated and curious AI/ML Engineering Intern to join our team. You'll work closely with our engineers to build, optimize, and deploy AI-powered applications using Python, LLMs, and modern frameworks. Bonus points if you have experience with NextJS to bridge AI with frontend development!

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and optimize Python-based applications and tools for AI/ML workflows.

• Experiment with and implement LLMs (e.g., GPT, Llama, BERT) and RAG architectures to enhance knowledge retrieval and generation tasks.

• Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI/ML (e.g., multimodal models, fine-tuning techniques, agentic systems) and propose innovative solutions.

• Collaborate on integrating AI models with backend systems and APIs.

• (Bonus) Assist in building user-friendly interfaces using NextJS to showcase AI capabilities.

• Document code, processes, and outcomes for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Must-Have:

  • Proficiency in Python (object-oriented programming, libraries like NumPy/Pandas, async workflows).

  • Strong understanding of LLMs, RAG, and modern AI architectures.

  • Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, LangChain).

  • Knowledge of NLP concepts, vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone), and API integration.

  • Curiosity to learn and adapt to emerging tools (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Mistral).

• Nice-to-Have:

  • Experience with NextJS or modern frontend frameworks (React, TypeScript).

  • Basic DevOps/MLOps skills (Docker, Git, cloud platforms like AWS/Azure).

  • Familiarity with data preprocessing, model evaluation.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.

  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on projects or coursework involving LLMs, RAG, or generative AI.

• Contributions to open-source AI/ML projects or GitHub portfolio.

• Experience deploying AI models in production environments.

• Passion for building end-to-end applications (backend + frontend).
