Job Description:

• Build and Innovate: Develop new capabilities and features to enhance the platform.

• Optimize and Improve: Continuously refine the platform to ensure peak performance and reliability.

• Maintain Excellence: Uphold the highest standards of quality, scalability, and reliability expected by developers across PayPal.

Your day to day

• Develop Scalable Solutions: Write high-performance, scalable backend software using Java and Spring Boot.

• Collaborate and Learn: Work closely with internal teams to build expertise on the product and its ecosystem.

• Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with teams across design, product, and other business units to deliver impactful solutions.

What do you need to bring

• Must have completed a Bachelor’s , Dual Degree or Integrated Master's degree in Computer Science or related field

• 1-2 years of Full-time experience in Backend technologies

• Experience building software systems would be a plus

• Strong applied experience. You’ve built, broken, and rebuilt software applications. We’re looking for creative thinkers with a curious mindset who are keen to learn and create real-world products.  

• Working knowledge of web technologies (such as HTTP, HTML/DOM, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX)   

• Familiarity with any or multiple of the following: Java, Springboot, Kafka, GCP

• Understanding of concepts like Web Services, SOA, REST APIs   

• A constant desire to grow, learn, and explore new things
