System Designation: Software Engineer

Location: Remote

Your Responsibilities:

Setup and configure E-Commerce sites using the composable commerce platform

Develop custom E-Commerce applications and themes

Follow best practices in E-Commerce app development, theming customization, and 3rd party integrations

Work closely with Senior Developers and Solution Architects to deliver high-quality solutions

Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise

Continuously learn and apply new technologies and development techniques

Required Skills and Experience:

Understanding of E-Commerce platforms, such as Commercetools, SFCC, Oracle ATG or Hybris.

Understanding of MACH architecture principles (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, Headless)

Expertise in E-Commerce app development, theming customization, and 3rd party integrations

Proficiency in extending E-Commerce APIs and utilizing both Frontend and Backend APIs

Experience in customizing E-Commerce front-end components

Comprehensive knowledge of vanilla E-Commerce feature set, functionality, and configuration

Robust understanding of Microservices, REST APIs, SOAP web services, and best practices

Competent in relevant technologies (e.g., Java, Node.js, React, GraphQL).

Good understanding of coding principles such as SOLID, DRY, etc.

Familiar with source code control platforms such as GitHub, BitBucket, etc

Familiarity with optimization, debugging tools, and strategies.

Highly Desirable Skills:

Exposure to SaaS / PaaS - Enterprise B2B software, ERP, and CRM platforms

Understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Experience with integrations to 3rd party systems for Payments, Search, Checkouts, etc.

Good UI and UX Aptitude, eye for best practices and coding standard

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
