Genesis Ray is seeking a Backend Development Intern to work with cutting-edge technologies such as Node.js, REST API, Python, Next.js, and PostgreSQL. Your primary role will be to support our team of backend developers in creating efficient and scalable solutions for our energy management platform.

Selected Intern's Day-to-Day Responsibilities Include:

1. Assist in the design and implementation of REST APIs to connect front-end applications to the database.
2. Collaborate with the team to build and maintain backend services using Node.js and Python.
3. Help optimize and troubleshoot existing backend processes to improve performance and user experience.
4. Contribute to the development of new features and functionalities for our platform using the Next.js framework.
5. Assist in database management tasks, including schema design, querying, and optimization using PostgreSQL.
6. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure code quality and best practices are followed.
7. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in backend development to bring innovative solutions to the team.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript (for Next.js/Node.js framework).
• Experience with PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of REST API development and usage.

Other Requirements:

1. Candidates pursuing degrees in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar fields (e.g., Bachelor in Computer Applications) are preferred.
