Stipend Details

• ₹5,000 per month (Fixed)

• Paid Internship

• Total for 6 months: ₹30,000

• Payment Mode: Electronic Transfer

• Payment Structure:

  • ₹15,000 after completion of 3 months

  • ₹15,000 after completion of 6 months

• No additional stipend beyond 6 months

Selection Process

• Based on weighted scoring:

  • 10th (Physics & Maths) – 10% weightage

  • 12th (Physics & Maths) / Diploma – 15% weightage

  • B.E./B.Tech Semester Percentages – 75% weightage

• Interviews may be conducted if necessary

• Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted

Important Notes

• Internship is purely temporary

• No right for absorption in DRDO

• Number of internships may vary based on lab requirements

• Internship fields must be relevant to DRDO research

• Candidates must apply through their respective institutes

Internship Guidelines & Conditions

• Internship duration:

  • Minimum: 8 weeks

  • Maximum: 6 months

• Extension may be requested within overall 6-month limit

• Extension subject to:

  • Financial feasibility

  • Infrastructure availability

• No stipend beyond 6 months

• Interns will be governed under:

  • Indian Official Secrets Act, 1923

  • DRDO rules and regulations

• Any violation of rules may lead to:

  • Immediate termination

  • Legal action

• Interns must:

  • Handle equipment carefully

  • Compensate for any damage

• No disclosure of confidential information:

  • Newspapers

  • Social media

  • Visual media

  • Any public platform

• Attendance:

  • As per lab process

  • Working hours as per lab timing

• Leave Policy:

  • Only Sick Leave with valid prescription

  • Lab holidays applicable

• No guarantee of employment after internship

• DRDO not responsible for:

  • Injuries during internship

  • Lodging, boarding, transport, medical expenses
