What you'll do

The Software Engineer Intern will work closely with our engineering team to support the development of web applications built using React, Node.js, and Azure cloud services. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in real-world software development, exposing the intern to the full development lifecycle—from understanding requirements and writing code to testing, deployment, and documentation. The intern will contribute to ongoing projects, learn modern development practices, and gain practical skills while working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. This position is ideal for students or recent graduates who are passionate about coding, eager to learn, and looking to build a strong foundation in full-stack development.

Responsibility

• Assist in developing front-end features using React, including components, state management, and UI workflows

• Contribute to building and maintaining Node.js backend services, APIs, and integrations

• Work with Azure cloud services (e.g., App Services, Functions, Storage, DevOps pipelines) under team guidance

• Participate in the design and implementation of RESTful APIs and ensure smooth communication between front-end and backend systems

• Write clean, well-structured, and reusable code following project standards and best practices

• Debug and troubleshoot issues in both front-end and backend environments

• Use Git and Git-based workflows (branching, pull requests, code reviews) for version control

• Collaborate with the team to understand technical requirements and break down tasks

• Support deployment activities, including monitoring builds, testing environments, and Azure pipelines

• Assist with unit testing and basic automated testing using relevant frameworks

• Document features, technical decisions, and API specifications as needed

• Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and technical discussions to stay aligned with project goals

• Learn and apply modern React, Node.js, and Azure development practices, continuously

Job Designation

Hybrid:Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)
