RESPONSIBILITIES • Design comprehensive test plans and document them. • Execute test plans and report outcomes. • Implement test automation where applicable. • Author automated test scripts in JavaScript or equivalent scripting language. • Participate in product design sessions and assist in driving product quality. • Ensure compliance with security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies. EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE • Bachelor’s degree in a software-related field; 0–2 years of experience. • Strong communication, teaming, and collaboration skills. • Experience with version control systems (Git/Subversion) and defect tracking tools. • Knowledge of JS scripting, closures, namespacing, debugging, and web services/RESTful APIs. • Strong experience testing web-based software (front-end and back-end) and understanding TCP/IP communications. • Familiarity with SAAS is highly desired.
