The intern (chemical engineering) under Industrial Software COE will: - Undergo training on technology and products offered by Industrial Software CoE. Some of the training would be self paced computer based training. - Assist the assigned mentor on completion of project work or initiatives and activities the mentor assigns - Report progress on periodic basis to mentor at Emerson as well as mentor assigned by the educational institute - Work with mentor assigned by educational institute to complete all academic requirements Prepare and submit a compilation / report of work performed as well as learnings on conclusion of internship to Emerson assigned mentor as well as mentor assigned by educational institute.

For This Role, You Will Need: 

• 0 years Experience. Candidates must have cleared all examinations upto VIth semester, and should now be pursuing completion of VIIth or VIIIth semester of B.E/ B.Tech – Chemical Engineering/ Petrochemical/ Polymer/ Petroleum Engineering 

 TECHNICAL SKILLS: 

• Ability to read, write and speak with fluency in English • Ability to work with a team towards successful delivery of project or initiative • Ability to read P&IDs, PFDs • Ability to work with proficiency with MS Office applications including MS Word, MS Excel , MS PowerPoint and Visio • Ability and willingness to undergo technical as well as soft skills training as assigned by mentors • Knowledge of fundamentals of unit operations and process, process equipment design, numerical analysis methods and industrial stoichiometry • Experience in Microsoft Excel VBA Macro Development and/or Microsoft Access •
